I bought a battery operated ride on car from Walmart.com for my two year old son for christmas. It came in the box in in parts that I had to put together which they did not tell you in the advertising first of all.
Anyway it came with a broken circuitboard witch is the part to charge the battery due to no type of safe packing material inside box whatsoever not one piece of foam to keep the metal rods which mount the wheels from banging into everything else during the 3,000 mile journey across the country. I tried to return it at Walmart and they passed the buck told me u had to deal with bcp. Well I called and they said take picture of broken part and send to their email and they would replace the part. I did all that called them back and they next ladie said "oh no worries we will send you another entire car in the box free of charge " and for me to keep the old one for parts.
And it will arrive in 3-5 business days. Well it's been almost two weeks getting close to Christmas and no box has arrived and they won't return my email and they have cut the line to customer service. You cannot contact them by phone now. And it has become obvious why.
Many people calling and complaining close to Christmas and they don't want to deal with it. It seems I have been lied to and screwed over. It also seems that this company buys from China and resells these low quality products to us the American consumer at a largely inflated price. This became obvious to me when I got this car in a million pieces in a box that read "made in China" on the side.
Waste of time, energy, and money. Stay away from these people.
